I'm Itai Alon, I have a passion for digital products and design user experience. I like challenges and especially challenges in the field of human dilemmas.

I studied art, user psychology and visual design for five years, I am an artist in my soul (and in my temperament). Upon graduation, I trained in game development and was a happy employee of a game development company. I understand development and have a multi-layered view of logical processes in the user experience.

I am a minimalist who designs and characterizes complex systems, as such, I strive for perfection that has a twist and the basic simplicity of intuition. I have equal weight on both sides of the brain, an element that complements the research and understanding of what you need.

My experience in launching digital products is extensive, and I'm always up-to-date with the latest trends. I take on every task as a personal challenge and always look for ways to improve my skills.

Entrepreneurship and creativity

I am an entrepreneur at heart and a founder of digital ventures, a startup company specializing in predicting human behavior in consumerism. I became a shareholder in some of the companies that approached me to gain my contribution to their products.

I have a lot of experience; I started my way by studying visual design. I learned four years filled with everything from techniques of painting, photography, psychology of design, drawing, and digital design.

After school I studied game development and game psychology, I founded a company that developed thousands of mainly marketing games for hundreds of clients in Israel and around the world.

The next chapter of my life taught me a lot about digital marketing, branding and advertising, where I served as the creative general manager and CEO of digital advertising companies for over a decade.

For the past decade and a half, I have been focusing my efforts on digital product design and user experience. I produce and accompany over twenty digital products a year.

I am a founder and partner in a startup company that deals with predicting emotional reactions of markets in relation to an idea or a product and an entrepreneur of digital products and from all that I know the world of startups intimately, which creates an advantage for me, especially when working with entrepreneurs and startups.

I am a designer first and foremost, therefore I specialize in creating a mini-branding (brand identity) for your digital product that expresses the personality and character of your product and later use the creation of this visual character to create the design of the product (UI).

Time is a precious resource, and some of you do not have much of it; I am aware of the matter and can assure you that with orderly and professional work, delays can be minimized, and all the processes you need to design your application can be carried out at record speed.

I work quickly and accurately and can expand the number of researching and designing hands on demand. As much as it depends on my transportation, things flow quickly and professionally.

Without a shadow of a doubt the answer is design first! If you ask developers for a quote for an app or any other digital product, their answer will be "show me a characterization or designed screens". The development process must be accurate and therefore must be based on an accurate characterization and, even better, on the real content of each part of the project that is reflected in the layout of designed screens.

Furthermore, in most cases, developers are good at development and less so at user experience and an overall vision of usability, monetization and research, so you want to avoid changes and zigzags in decisions in the development process that will charge you a high price. The trick is to arrive at and present the product to the developers when it is mature in its thinking and visibility.

When talking about high standards in the design of an application or a digital product, it is impossible not to mention the terms "micro-interactions", or "loti animations". Each digital product I create is accompanied by a set of professional animations unique to the brand. The animations are vector, presented to developers in Jason format and compatible with all end devices. I plan, design and produce these animations in the content of Adobe called After Effects.

Although I have a background in development and computer games, I do what I know best: plan, design, and present the project to the developers on a platter of gold. Over time I have gained extensive contacts and knowledge about development capabilities and companies in Israel and worldwide. I work from home or on a trip, I try to broaden my horizons and learn anew every day. My anchor place is in Herzliya but you can find me in all sorts of places, such as Portugal, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Greece.
