UX UI design and user experience for a series of apps for learning first words in English for preschoolers

UX UI design and user experience for an app for how children think

Alef - learning English for preschoolers is an application that helps young children and toddlers learn and memorize the English language by using illustrations and narration.

The app was designed and developed, especially for child-parent interactions, and adapted to be operated by the child or the parent.

Alf, learning English for preschoolers is the first application that enables the assimilation of educational values in the English language.

To download the app

The applet has a variety of additional functions that allow additional space for activity:

auto play - By clicking this function, the presentation will play automatically

Random card presentation – We learned that children and toddlers also remember very well the order in which things appear. The random function presents a card in a way that is not known in advance which surprises the child and enables learning through understanding and assimilation of what is learned.

Screen lock - We know that children like to click on the screen and not necessarily in the right place, that's why we enabled the screen lock option. When this option is active, other options in the options bar cannot be clicked.

Navigation arrows – Clicking on the navigation arrows moves the display to the next/previous card according to the position of the click. You can also move cards forward/backward by dragging your finger on the screen to the right or left.

Replay card - Clicking on the name will play the name of the displayed object again.
