KKL-Havier - design and user experience for a terrain navigation game application

Playing in the application "Havier" is an experiential navigation competition in the KKL-Junk field centers using tablets and smartphones. The activity combines tasks, plays, videos, songs, riddles and games through which the contestants get to know the topics of nature, environment, man and Zionism in the center of the field. The application is intended for participants in the KKL-Junk Navigation Challenge game

What were the challenges in which I had to do unique thinking or crack complexity in the user experience or the user interface. Which parts of the project did I dwell on so that the final result would be satisfactory in terms of the design of the application, the user experience (XU) and the customer's needs.

From this point of view, I distinguish between three parts and try to analyze each of them in the process:

Abrasion | Gamification

How to combine a game in the physical world with an experience in the virtual world without damaging the game experience.

How to create user experience that will create synergy and a whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Scalability

How to create a template that will fit future Kekel games in any region of Israel without changes to the user interface or the user experience.

How to create a correct management of the information and results at the level of the game at a given moment and at the level of the history of the game.

accessibility

Conditions: Hvier is navigation in daytime conditions in nature. Under such conditions, the digital product must meet precise accessibility needs. When I mean accessibility, I divide the answer into two:

Universal accessibility: refers to the adaptation of the user experience to users who do not have unique disabilities such as the visually impaired and the like, but to the relationship between the terrain conditions and navigation while moving.
